We're looking for a proactive Shipping Coordinator Assistant to join our team and help ensure our shipments run smoothly and efficiently.This is a great opportunity to build your experience within a fast-paced retail business, working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to keep our global supply chain on track.About the RoleSupporting our Shipping Coordinator, you'll play an important role in coordinating imported goods, tracking shipments, managing documentation and assisting with supplier invoices and shipping costs. You'll help ensure deliveries arrive accurately and on time while supporting efficient processes across our supply chain.What You'll Be DoingCoordinating and tracking international shipments to ensure timely delivery.Checking purchase orders,



supplier invoices and packing lists for accuracy.Maintaining shipping documentation and assisting with customs and compliance requirements.Reviewing freight and supplier invoices and helping resolve discrepancies.Working with Finance to reconcile supplier accounts and shipping costs.Building strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams.Helping identify opportunities to improve processes and manage freight costs.What We're Looking For1–3 years' experience in shipping, logistics or import operations.An understanding of international shipping processes, documentation and terminology.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Confident communication and relationship-building skills.Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.Experience with ERP or accounting systems will be highly regarded.A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership.Who We AreWe're STRAND, Australia's go-to travel and lifestyle companion since 1927.
