We provide a comprehensive range of automotive services, including general vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, engine diagnostics, brake and suspension repairs, transmission servicing and roadworthy inspections. Key Responsibilities: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in motor vehicles using specialised diagnostic equipment and manufacturer specifications. Inspecting, dismantling and repairing engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension components, braking systems and other vehicle assemblies to identify defects and determine repair requirements. Repairing or replacing worn, damaged and defective mechanical components and reassembling vehicle systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures. Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance, including oil and filter changes, fluid replacements, engine tune-ups and general vehicle inspections. Diagnosing and repairing engine performance issues, cooling system faults, transmission problems and other mechanical malfunctions. Testing,



adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electrical systems following repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance, reliability and safety. Using computerised diagnostic equipment to identify faults, assess vehicle performance and verify repair outcomes. Conducting vehicle inspections and performing necessary repairs to meet roadworthiness and safety requirements. Liaising with customers and workshop staff regarding vehicle faults, repair recommendations, maintenance requirements and the progress of repair work. Preparing and maintaining accurate service records, repair reports and maintenance documentation. Qualification and Experience: Relevant qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or a related field. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications. Experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing passenger vehicles across various makes and models. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including experience using computerised diagnostic equipment. Ability to interpret technical manuals, manufacturer specifications and repair procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy automotive workshop.
