We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Accountant to join our team at Furama Darling Harbour on a fixed-term maternity leave contract.
This is a great opportunity for a recent Accounting or Finance graduate, or a junior to mid-level accountant looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in the hospitality industry.
You don't need years of experience! We're looking for someone with a positive understanding of accounting principles, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Process invoices, payments and journal entries.
- Support the Finance team with general accounting and administrative tasks.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal finance procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Recently completed or currently completing a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous accounting or hospitality experience is an advantage, but not essential.
