About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, mature, experienced Female Disabilty Support Worker to assist a participant located in the Hallam Area.

Must have flexibility and availabilty to cover shifts as required.

Immediate Start.

We are looking for someone who can start immediately. The Successful Canadidate will be required to do sleepovers.

- A detailed cover letter is required for this position outlining your experience in supporting others and your current experience working within the field of disability.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting participants with day-to-day living activities in the participant's house.
- Assisting participants in making choices and enabling them to reach their desired goals.
- Meal Prep assistance
- Assisting with the delivery of activities to enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being of participants.
- Provide high quality, qualified and individualised support to participants.
- Complete all administrative tasks.
- Extensive experience in Behaviours of Concern

What we're looking for

- Proven experience or strong passion for supporting people with disabilities
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in the disability support sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others
- Ample experience in supporting participants with behaviours of concern




- A current Australian driver’s license
- NDIS worker Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Cert IV In disability or equivalent. Previous experience in the disability field
- Working with Children’s Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
- Two contactable references
