Full-Time Wall and Floor Tiler

Australia Network Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Full-Time Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team in Strathfield, NSW.

The successful applicant will work across our clients’ construction projects, including residential homes, commercial buildings and public spaces throughout Sydney. You will be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Position Details

- Position: Wall and Floor Tiler – Full-Time
- Salary: A$90,000–A$98,000 per annum, plus superannuation
- Location: Strathfield and various project sites across Sydney, NSW
- Work arrangement: In person
- Versatile working hours may be available
- A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience is required

Skills and Experience

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

- Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling or an equivalent relevant qualification
- At least two years of proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler
- Sound knowledge of tiling techniques, materials and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Good physical fitness, stamina and strength
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling and priming them to ensure proper tile adhesion.




- Select suitable tiles according to project plans and design requirements.
- Measure and cut tiles accurately to fit around pipes, corners, edges and other obstacles.
- Prepare and evenly apply adhesives, mortar and other bonding materials.
- Install tiles in the required rows or patterns, ensuring correct alignment and consistent spacing.
- Apply grout between tiles to achieve a clean finish and prevent moisture penetration.
- Apply suitable sealants to protect tiled surfaces from stains, water damage and general wear.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with project specifications.
- Replace damaged tiles, complete re-grouting and perform general maintenance when required.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns and provide suitable recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.
