Experienced Therapy Assistant Needed – Sunshine, VIC
We’re looking for a warm, patient, and experienced Therapy Assistant to support a bright and curious 6-year-old boy in the Sunshine area.
About the participant:
He’s an engaging and energetic young boy who loves movement-based play, drawing, and colouring. He often creates shapes and pictures from his own imagination. He thrives on familiar routines, shares a strong bond with his family, and is happy to try new things when supported by people he trusts. He comes from a Filipino background, and his family is part of a close-knit church community.
Details
Location: Sunshine, VIC 3020
Shift Timings and Date: Preferably Mondays 10am to 11 am
Setting: Participant’s home and nearby kindergarten (neighbouring school), alternating weekly.
Therapy Assistant Requirement
* Experience as a Therapy Assistant supporting young children, ideally with speech and/or OT goals
* Patient, playful, and good at building trust with children
* Comfortable working with families from culturally diverse backgrounds (Filipino or Tagalog language skills are a bonus)
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check and other documents to be discussed upon onboarding
