Our clients is looking for a skilled wall and floor tiler who undertakes wall and floor tiling across residential construction projects and will be responsible for completing all work to a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work
- preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
- spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position
- using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
- ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced
- grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout
- applying waterproofing systems

Essential Requirements

- Certificate IV in related field or Certificate III with 2 years work experience.




- Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
- Demonstrated experience in residential wall and floor tiling.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, tile cutting, laying, grouting and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, measurements and specifications.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
- Positive understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Relevant trade qualification in wall and floor tiling is highly regarded.

Pay: $79,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
