Duty Manager – Regional Queensland

- Salary: $77,000–$80,000 + superannuation

About The Role

This is a hands-on Duty Manager position suited to someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of venue operations while ensuring shifts run smoothly, staff are supported and guests receive friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing daily operations across the bar, food and beverage, gaming and general venue areas
- Supervising, training and supporting staff to maintain high service standards
- Providing hands-on bar service, preparing drinks, delivering table service and replenishing stock
- Cleaning and changing beer lines and kegs




- Managing cash handling, till balancing and gaming payouts
- Maintaining excellent customer service, responsible service practices and patron safety
- Coordinating venue opening and closing procedures
- Monitoring operational standards and ensuring the venue runs efficiently throughout each shift

About You

You’re a confident hospitality skilled who can take charge when required, motivate a team and remain actively involved in the day-to-day running of a busy venue.

You will bring:

- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, supervisory or similar hospitality role
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise staff in a busy environment
- Solid beverage knowledge and confidence across bar and general hospitality operations
- Experience with cash handling, gaming procedures and daily venue responsibilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A practical, reliable approach and the flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings

Licensing Requirements

Current Queensland RSA, RSG, CLO, RMLV and Approved Manager licence are required, or you must be eligible and able to obtain the relevant qualifications.
