The opportunity
An opportunity is available for an experienced mental health professional to join an established clinical service supporting people experiencing mental health concerns and psychological distress.

In this senior clinical role, you will play an important part in assessing presenting needs, determining appropriate levels of care and facilitating access to suitable mental health services. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and other service providers to help ensure people receive timely, appropriate and person-centred support.

This position offers the opportunity to apply your clinical judgement in a varied and rewarding environment, working with people with complex needs while contributing to effective care coordination and positive outcomes.

About you:
You are an experienced mental health clinician who brings sound clinical judgement, robust assessment skills and a commitment to recovery-oriented, person-centred care. You are confident working with people experiencing mental health challenges, assessing risk and collaborating with other professionals to determine appropriate care pathways.

You will have:

- A relevant qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist, or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for Social Work applicants.
- Relevant clinical experience in mental health assessment, triage or a closely related mental health setting.
- Strong clinical reasoning, risk assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with people experiencing distress.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Appropriate working rights in Australia, with relevant pre-employment checks and registration requirements met.
