St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is a rural Catholic school in Wheatbelt Western Australia that caters for approximately 38 students and their families from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Selection Criteria

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic educators who have the necessary knowledge, skills and professional capacity to:

- develop and nurture respectful relationships with students, staff and families of the school.
- promote the Catholic faith, education and ethos of the school.
- work as part of a collaborative, cohesive and dedicated Teaching and Learning Team.
- demonstrate excellent teaching practice, with the capacity to engage, motivate and manage students in the classroom and in their learning.
- possess excellent organisational, technological and interpersonal skills.




- have an understanding of contemporary, evidence-based approaches to learning and teaching, including having the ability use data to differentiate the curriculum to cater for a variety of student needs.
- have a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and practice effective strategies to implement it.
- be committed to the ongoing development of self through the participation in Professional Development and Professional Learning Communities.
- be an active and positive staff member with a willingness to support all class and whole-school initiatives and activities.

Qualifications Required

- Appropriate Teaching Qualifications.
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education, or a willingness to work towards.
- Only applicants with full working rights in Australia will be considered.
