ROLE DESCRIPTION The ideal candidate will have experience teaching a variety of levels of Humanities and Social Sciences including upper school. Awareness of teaching using ICT is a requirement.

Applicants must have a genuine love of learning and be able to demonstrate a commitment to student centred-learning, collaborative practice, pastoral care, co-curricular responsibilities, and the values of the College.

Classroom teachers will be expected to

· Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study

· Provide a child safe setting in accordance with the child safe standards

· Teach an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum year level

· Monitor,



evaluate and report student progress in ley learning areas

· Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes

· Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress

· Implement effective student management consistent with the College’s strategic plan

· Contribute to a range of co-curricular programs

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum of a Diploma of Education
- Current registration with Teachers Registration Board Western Australia
- Current Working With Children Check
- Willingness to obtain Accreditation for Teachers
- The ability to teach Religious Education would be advantageous but not essential
