Marcem is a specialist provider of industrial Hire Equipment, supporting clients across mining, oil & gas, power generation and heavy industry. We are seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to manage client training requirements, coordinate and deliver training programs, and support the ongoing improvement of our existing training materials. This is a varied role combining client relationship management, training coordination, course delivery and continuous improvement of our training systems.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver flange management and industrial maintenance training programs.
- Facilitate classroom, workshop and practical hands-on training.
- Manage client training enquiries from initial contact through to course completion.
- Coordinate course bookings, participant registrations and training documentation.
- Prepare training proposals and quotations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for training clients.
- Assess participant competency and maintain accurate records.
- Review and improve existing training materials and resources.
- Support implementation and administration of training systems and online learning platforms.
- Identify opportunities to expand training services and improve the client experience.
About you
Essential
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
- Experience delivering workplace training.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- High Level of Computer Proficiency.
Highly Regarded
- Mechanical trade qualification or industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience in flange management, bolting, machining, maintenance, mining, oil & gas or heavy industry.
- Experience managing training administration and client bookings.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Forklift Licence.
