Transport Coordinator - Welshpool WA

We're looking for a Transport Coordinator to keep equipment moving across the business. Working with internal teams, customers and transport contractors, you'll help ensure deliveries and collections are safe, efficient and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate equipment transport movements across the business, ensuring availability, timing and operational priorities are aligned.
- Liaise with internal teams, customers and transport contractors to ensure efficient and timely deliveries and collections.
- Monitor transport costs and contractor performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and manage costs.
- Coordinate with preferred logistics providers to resolve transport issues and maintain service standards.
- Maintain accurate transport records, requests and reporting through company systems.
- Provide practical transport support and guidance to internal teams, including ensuring forklift hire equipment and attachments are ready when required.
- Ensure all transport activities are completed in line with company policies,



safety requirements and relevant regulatory standards.

About You

- Experience in transport coordination, logistics, fleet scheduling or a similar operational role
- A good understanding of equipment transport, vehicle capacities and logistics requirements
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams
- Ability to prioritise competing demands, manage timeframes and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment
- Confident working with Microsoft Office and business systems
- A practical problem-solving approach and the ability to respond quickly when plans change
- Comfortable building positive working relationships with internal teams, customers and contractors
- Relevant equipment operation licences or certifications where required
