Stone Valley Bakehouse is looking for an energetic, highly organised, and customer-focused Casual Barista / Front of House All-Rounder to join our team!

Please note: Proven barista experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is a strict prerequisite for this role. We are unfortunately unable to consider applicants without solid, professional coffee experience.

While this is an all-rounder role where you will be expected to jump into all areas of the bakery, we are specifically looking for a candidate who is confident behind the machine and capable of maintaining exceptional coffee quality during busy trade periods.

Skills & Experience Required

- Barista Experience (Strict Prerequisite): Minimum 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Confident with manual milk texturing, dialling in grinds, managing dockets, and maintaining speed on the machine without compromising on quality.
- Full Weekly Availability: Flexible availability across all days of the week (Monday to Sunday), including early morning starts, weekend trade, and short-notice shift coverage as required.




- All-Rounder Mentality: Enthusiastic about jumping in wherever needed—from making coffee and serving customers to processing sales on Square, packing baked goods, general cleaning, and counter restocking.
- Communication & Detail: Warm, friendly, and qualified manner with customers, with a strong focus on maintaining pristine presentation across both the coffee setup and retail area.

The Role

The Casual Front of House All-Rounder is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, running coffee service, processing sales transactions, and handling food and beverage preparation. You will be an integral part of the service team, ensuring the cleanliness of the shop, high-quality product delivery across the board, and a positive, efficient takeaway experience for our customers.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $27.81 – $29.45 per hour
