The Role

As the Plant & Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for programming, implementing, and maintaining our new CMMS platform while ensuring preventative maintenance activities are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.

You will also support business-wide initiatives including automation, energy efficiency, carbon reduction, asset optimisation, and industrial improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the implementation and programming of a new CMMS system.
- Transfer and validate maintenance data from existing systems.
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules and workflows.
- Create automated work orders and maintenance programs.
- Maintain accurate asset registers, equipment records, manuals, and technical documentation.
- Ensure maintenance activities align with manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain critical spare parts inventories.
- Standardise maintenance practices and asset management processes across multiple sites.
- Support reliability, asset performance, and equipment lifecycle initiatives.
- Contribute to innovation projects including robotisation, energy tracking, monitoring systems, and carbon reduction programs.
- Assist with industrial and infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior project leaders.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures and legislative requirements.

About You





You are a proactive and technically minded engineer who enjoys working closely with operations, maintenance teams, and project stakeholders to deliver practical outcomes.

Ideally You Will Have

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Asset Management Engineering.
- Experience implementing or administering CMMS platforms such as Pronto, MEX, SAP PM, Maximo, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance and reliability-centred maintenance principles.
- Experience working with mobile plant, heavy equipment, industrial assets, or fleet operations.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and asset data management skills.
- A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
