About the role
This is a casual role where you will be required to be available across 5 - 6 days per week (including 1 day on the weekend). We have day and night shifts available with each shift being 4-10 hours long and weekly hours averaging between 15 - 40hrs per week. Experience is not required for these positions and full training is provided, however, an ability to follow instructions and standard processes is a must.

Description

Responsibilities

- Sorting & labelling of parcels and boxes being sent to and from the warehouse
- Storing/stowing received parcels and boxes throughout the facility
- Picking parcels and boxes from shelves using an RF scanner (training provided)
- Organising and dispatching parcels and boxes that will be sent to the customer
- Cleaning and organisation of the site environment
- Adhering to safety, quality and production standards
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Lifting and moving products up to 23kg in weight





Successful applicants will be employed by Adecco to carry out a temporary work assignment to Amazon and will be required to complete background and police check and a drug and alcohol test. You must also have the right to work in Australia.

Profile

Experience is not required for these positions; however, an ability to follow instructions and standard processes at all times is a must. Amazon is customer obsessed so attention to detail, quality and accuracy is important. Ideal candidates will be reliable, responsible, team players who work hard and have fun!

Significant Work Rights Requirement

Applicants must have full Australian working rights.

We cannot consider Subclass 500 Student Visa holders unless they are a dependent with unrestricted work rights.

Job Offer

To be successful, you'll need to complete a Functional Assessment, National Police Check, background checks, and Drug & Alcohol screening. You must also hold full Australian working rights with unrestricted work rights and no limitations on hours worked or conditions around when they apply.
