The Role
A skilled and enthusiastic cropping-focused farm hand is invited to join a progressive, family-owned agricultural enterprise operating across 2,400 hectares near Cowra in Central West NSW.

This highly varied position is centered around the enterprise's 1,400-hectare cropping program—covering winter cereals, canola, barley, oats, and lucerne—where you will take key responsibility for broadacre machinery operations, including precision sowing, spreading, windrowing, disc chaining, and hay production using controlled traffic and variable rate precision farming technology.

Beyond paddock operations, the role encompasses routine machinery servicing and maintenance in a modern, well-appointed workshop, local heavy combination driving to transport stock, grain, lime, and fertiliser between local properties, as well as providing valuable seasonal support for livestock operations across their 4,000 composite breeding ewes, lamb feedlot, and cattle trading programs.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, reliable, and respectful team player who brings a strong mechanical aptitude and proven experience in machinery operation, alongside a high level of pride in their work and equipment.

- Demonstrated experience operating broadacre cropping machinery and precision ag systems (RTK steering, variable rates).
- Solid mechanical knowledge with practical skills in machine maintenance, fabrication, welding, or basic repairs.
- Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence (or willingness to obtain) for local truck driving duties.
- Willingness to assist in general farm duties, including seasonal livestock tasks, fencing, and spot spraying.
- A positive, clean, and respectful attitude with a commitment to high workmanship standards and safety.
