This is a casual personal trainer role with Jamie Fitness in Iona, coaching clients one-to-one. You build your ongoing client base over time, so it does not come with a ready-made book of clients or guaranteed full-time hours.
Availability needed
Please be available four afternoons or evenings a week, about 3pm to 8.30pm, plus two mornings a week. Being available does not mean those hours are guaranteed or paid.
Support
Jamie Fitness provides marketing and administrative support. We do not charge gym rent for this role.
What the role involves
- Take part in mentoring and team workshops.
- Coach each client one-to-one.
- Work within our coaching and administration processes.
- Help prospective clients understand the training offer.
- Requirements
Cert IV in Fitness, or be close to completing it. Current First Aid, CPR and a Working with Children Check will be needed when you start.
Pay structure
Casual role,
paid hourly plus super and any applicable commission. The rate steps up with your ongoing weekly client hours:
- $40.17 an hour (up to 25 client hours a week)
- $45 an hour (25 to 30 client hours a week)
- $55 an hour (30 or more client hours a week)
