We are passionate about delivering high-quality education guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS), catering to children aged 6 months to 6 years to ensure individual development is nurtured, encouraged, and enhanced.
This position will suit a candidate who is looking for excellent work/life balance! We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cook to join our wonderful team in our exciting Northmead location. Hours may vary when first integrating into the position; however, permanent set hours will be provided.

About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a permanent part-time Cook looking to work within a supportive and positive environment, where you will:

- Prepare morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea based on a 4-week rotating menu
- Ensure food safety and hygiene are strictly maintained at all times when handling, preparing, and storing food and drinks




- Ensure all meals meet the specific dietary requirements of children with allergies or cultural food restrictions
- Order food and kitchen supplies within the allocated centre budget to cater to the weekly menu
- Communicate effectively and warmly with colleagues, children, and families

The Successful Candidate Will Ideally Have:

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable or willing to obtain)
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality or nutrition (e.g., Commercial Cookery, Food Handling, Food Allergens, or Menu Planning)
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in a similar role within early childhood education or aged care (desirable)
