About the Role

As our Beauty / Laser Therapist, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional treatments and creating a positive experience for every client who walks through our doors.

You will have the opportunity to work in a friendly and professional environment, develop your technical skills, build lasting client relationships and contribute your ideas as we continue to grow and improve our salon.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about beauty, skincare and aesthetics, takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys helping clients feel confident and beautiful.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform laser hair removal treatments and other beauty services within your qualifications, training and scope of practice.
- Conduct thorough client consultations, skin assessments and treatment suitability checks.
- Understand Fitzpatrick skin typing, hair types, contraindications and appropriate treatment protocols.
- Operate laser equipment safely and confidently, following manufacturer instructions and salon procedures.
- Provide clear pre-treatment and aftercare advice to ensure the best possible client experience.
- Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes and consent documentation.
- Deliver professional, personalised treatments while maintaining excellent hygiene and infection-control standards.




- Build positive relationships with clients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Recommend suitable treatments, skincare products and treatment plans based on individual client needs.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming treatment room and salon environment.
- Assist with bookings, client enquiries, consultations and general salon operations as required.
- Work collaboratively with the team, share knowledge and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Participate in ongoing training and take an active interest in learning new techniques, treatments and industry developments.

Skills & Requirements

- A relevant beauty therapy qualification, such as Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy, or equivalent experience appropriate to the role.
- Relevant laser training and competency for the treatments performed.
- Experience in laser hair removal or a strong interest in developing laser therapy skills.
- Knowledge of skin types, treatment contraindications, laser safety and client aftercare.
- Robust communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
- A professional presentation and a genuine passion for the beauty industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to client safety.
- A reliable, organised and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback and develop professionally.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- A caring, respectful approach to clients and colleagues.

Previous experience with Candela GentleMax Pro or similar professional laser systems will be highly regarded.
