Due to current growth in business, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic tradesperson/trades assistant to join our growing team at Wetherill Park.

About the Role:

You could be cutting and preparing material for welding; assembling components and sub-assemblies, drilling/milling/machining or even doing some occasional welding.

What your new role will involve:

- Operating hand tools and general workshop machinery like bandsaw, bench drill, linisher and angle grinder safely.
- Sub-Assembly of components.
- Preparing parts for fabrication as per drawing requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping in workshop and help with packaging.
- Comply with RISsafety WH&S; standards.
- Some physical lifting of Aluminium extrusion materials up to 20Kg.
- Opportunity to learn/perform some minor welding operations.

About You:





- High quality of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and work to manufacturing drawings.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company standards WHS / EMS and regulatory requirements
- Positive communication skills both written and verbal.
- Willing to work to RIS business needs such as tight deadlines and supporting overtime when offered
