The Courthouse Hotel, North Melbourne is seeking an experienced floor staff member to join our pub, a community hub where the team and regulars are on a first name basis. We are a professional group who strive to deliver guests a warm and genuine hospitality experience. The team are passionate about all things food and booze. In the kitchen we bake bread, roll pasta, butcher meat, and make cheese. Out front we have a focus on local craft beer, wine, and spirits.
Key responsibilities
Running a section of the restaurant
Provide guests with a genuine hospitality experience
Possess in depth knowledge of products and enhance guest experience by sharing knowledge with them
Possess excellent communication skills
Be able to work well under pressure
Building relationships with regular and local clientele
Have and use initiative
About you
Experienced floor staff member
Someone who genuinely loves giving and receiving hospitality
Someone who thrives in a busy environment which provides multiple services
Desire to learn and further yourself
WSET training up to level 3 for the right candidate
