We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused Superintendent with strong operational knowledge, a commitment to safety and the ability to build positive relationships with drivers, customers, and the wider operations team.

About the Role

Reporting to the UHH Manager, you will help coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Ultra Heavy Haulage fleet, supporting delivery scheduling, equipment maintenance, driver development, compliance, and customer service.

Working closely with the UHH Manager, Operations Supervisor, Warden Coordinator and site-based customers, you’ll help ensure our specialised heavy haulage operations meet operational, safety and customer requirements.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being involved in the operation, solving problems, and supporting a team to achieve safe and efficient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily operations, delivery scheduling, and collections.
- Support vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs, and tyre management.
- Oversee safe loading, unloading and load restraint.
- Promote safety leadership and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance.
- Maintain safety records, conduct site inspections, and assist with incident investigations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, driver welfare checks, and VOC assessments.
- Liaise with drivers, customers, suppliers, and internal teams.




- Coordinate operational purchasing and support continuous improvement.
- Conduct driver welfare checks before and after trips.
- Provide operational guidance and support to drivers and team members.
- Build effective working relationships across operations, administration, HSE, customers and suppliers.

About You You are a practical and dependable transport professional who can balance operational demands with safety, compliance, and customer expectations. You lead by example, communicate confidently, and take a proactive approach to resolving issues.

To be successful, you will have:

- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in transport operations, preferably in a supervisory or senior operational capacity.
- A current Multi Combination (MC) driver’s licence.
- Experience in specialised heavy haulage operations, highly regarded.
- Solid knowledge of Western Australian Road transport operations, scheduling, and compliance requirements.
- A sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility and heavy vehicle accreditation.
- Experience supporting vehicle maintenance, loading, load restraint, and driver competency.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
- A professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach.
