Sydney Tools is a family-owned Australian business with 110+ stores across Australia and Current Zealand. We stock the biggest range of power tools, hand tools and equipment from the brands tradies trust, and we’re still growing.
The role
We’re looking for a Visual Merchandiser to look after the presentation of our South Australian stores. You’ll work across the SA network to make sure every store is well-stocked, well-laid-out, and easy for customers to shop.
This is a great step for someone early in their VM career, or someone from a retail background who’s ready to move into a merchandising role.
What you’ll be doing
- Setting up and maintaining displays, end caps and feature bays
- Implementing planograms and store layouts
- Rolling out promotional and catalogue changeovers, including signage and ticketing
- Working with Store Managers to keep standards consistent across sites
- Supporting recent store fit-outs and resets
- Flagging stock gaps, damaged displays or layout issues
What we’re looking for
- Some experience in visual merchandising or retail (hardware, trade or big-box retail is a plus, but not essential)
- A good eye for detail and an understanding of what makes a display sell
- Comfortable with physical work: lifting, climbing ladders and building displays
- Organised and reliable, able to work independently between stores
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across SA stores
