About the role

Kobe Steakland is an exciting new steakhouse opening in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. We're looking for enthusiastic, professional and customer-focused hospitality staff to join our front-of-house team. With a focus on premium steaks, quality dining, an extensive whiskey selection and a sophisticated bar experience, we're looking for people who take pride in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

We have multiple positions available for both Wait Staff and Bartenders.

Key responsibilities

Wait Staff

- Deliver friendly, attentive and professional table service.

- Welcome guests, explain menu items and make food and beverage recommendations.

- Take orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen and bar.

- Develop a strong understanding of our menu, premium steaks, sides and beverages.

- Maintain excellent presentation, cleanliness and organisation across the dining area.

- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

- Handle guest enquiries and resolve concerns professionally.

Bartenders
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and other beverages to a high standard.

- Deliver an engaging and professional bar experience.

- Develop knowledge of our extensive whiskey selection, cocktail menu and beverage offerings.

- Provide confident recommendations and upsell beverages appropriately.

- Maintain bar cleanliness, presentation, stock levels and organisation.

- Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements and venue procedures.

- Work collaboratively with wait staff to deliver efficient and consistent service.

About you

Wait Staff

- A minimum of 2 years' hospitality experience preferred.

- Solid communication and customer service skills.





- Professional presentation and a positive, welcoming attitude.

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

- Confidence working in a busy, high-quality dining environment.

- A reliable team player who takes initiative and maintains high service standards.

Bartenders
- A minimum of 2 years' bartending experience preferred.

- Experience preparing cocktails and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails and beverage service.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- A current Queensland RSA certificate, or the ability to meet the legal requirements before commencing alcohol service.

- Confidence working under pressure while maintaining quality and presentation.

- A reliable, organised and proactive approach to work.
