Galaxy Inks is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production & Warehouse Operator to support our busy operations. This hands-on role combines ink mixing, forklift operation, loading and unloading, general warehouse duties and local deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Mix inks accurately and efficiently, operating a mixer
- Operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts safely
- Load and unload trucks
- Unload shipping containers
- Complete local deliveries safely and on time
- Perform general warehouse duties, including stock movement, housekeeping and order preparation
- Follow workplace health, safety and quality procedures at all times
- Support the wider production and warehouse team as required
About you
- A current forklift licence, with practical high-reach and counterbalance experience
- A current driver licence and a safe driving record
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, logistics or warehousing
- Confidence working with machinery and following mixing instructions
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A strong safety mindset and reliable work habits
- The ability to manage competing tasks in a rapid-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- The physical capacity to perform manual warehouse tasks safely
