We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our Brendale production facility in a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities and Duties
Every day is different and multi-skilling is important within our business. A Forklift Operator may be involved in:
- Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Checking delivery orders and counting stock.
- Moving items and stock around the yard to maximise storage space.
- Receiving incoming goods and accepting deliveries of stock.
- Clearing finished product efficiently to maximise production.
- Picking hardware and timber products for delivery.
- Adhering to all OH&S; standards and safe work practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Forklift Licence (essential).
- Demonstrated forklift operating experience (essential).
- Ability to work independently and safely in a busy workplace.
- Dogging Licence highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience within a manufacturing, logistics or yard workplace advantageous.
