Female Disability Support Worker — Hervey Bay

Casual | $45.28–$46.70 per hour + super

We’re looking for a friendly, patient and reliable female support worker to support a woman in Hervey Bay with everyday activities at home and in the community.

We value someone who follows through, enjoys a conversation and takes the time to build trust while respecting personal and professional boundaries.

The role

You’ll support the participant with:• Shopping and everyday errands• Attending appointments• Domestic assistance and household tasks• Support at home and accessing the community• Encouragement to make choices and maintain independence

You’ll also complete accurate shift notes, communicate relevant information to U Matter and follow the participant’s support plan.

About you

You’re warm, approachable and happy to have a chat.

You listen without judgment, respect people’s choices and understand that reliable support makes a difference.

You’ll need:• A current driver’s licence and a reliable, appropriately insured vehicle suitable for transporting a participant• Relevant screening clearances,



or willingness to obtain them before starting• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain them before starting• Transparent communication and basic confidence using a phone app for rosters and shift notes• A willingness to learn, follow guidance and maintain confidentiality

Experience in disability support is welcome, but we’re willing to train the right person.

Relevant caring or life experience is also valued.

What we offer• Casual weekday rates of $45.28–$46.70 per hour, including casual loading, with classification based on the role and your relevant experience and qualifications• Superannuation, applicable penalty rates and allowances• Training, guidance and direct communication with a local, family-run team• A thoughtful matching process that considers both you and the participant
