Acacia Ridge Pet Resort is a family owned and operated pet care facility located in Willawong on the south side of Brisbane. We are after a hard worker to join our dynamic team one weekend day each week and to be available during QLD school holidays.
- MUST love dogs
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Loves a clean kennel!
- Physically fit (able to lift 20kg, able to handle large, strong/heavy pets)
- Excellent attention to detail (Very important to us!)
- Brilliant communication skills and a positive attitude
- Able to commit to 7am starts
- Available to work a weekend day, school holidays and public holidays (Christmas, New Years, Easter etc)
- Own Transport (as Public Transport is not available nearby)

This role predominantly involves working with the dogs in the kennels and includes all aspects of pet care - cleaning kennels and exercise yards, feeding, keeping records of behaviour and working with the rest of the team to maintain communication regarding all aspects of the pets' welfare.
Staff members must be available during school holidays and public holidays. We are a very busy facility and require our staff to be adaptable to our quick-paced work environment and be reliable as we are a small team.
Hours: Approximately 5 hours per week; Minimum 1 morning shift on a weekend day per week, maximum 2 morning shifts. During School Holidays 20-30 hours per week.
