About the Chance

Stanford Barbers is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Hairdressers or barbers ready to step into a senior management role within an established, well known brand.

You will balance a small column of client services whilst having dedicated time off the floor overseeing front-of-house operations, team performance, rostering and commercial KPIs, ensuring the salon operates efficiently, profitably and to brand standard.

Working closely with the Business Owner, you will take ownership of daily operations and commercial performance, with a longer-term pathway towards managing two salon locations as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

Salon Operations & Client Experience

- Oversee daily salon operations, bookings, appointment flow and front-of-house standards.
- Maintain high standards of client consultation, service delivery and client experience.
- Manage client feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
- Ensure salon presentation, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
- Maintain efficient workflows and consistent operational procedures.

Commercial Performance & KPIs

- Take ownership of agreed revenue targets and salon KPIs.
- Monitor and drive productivity, roster utilisation, client retention, prebooking and average transaction value.
- Manage rostering and wage efficiency against business targets.
- Provide regular performance reporting and recommendations to the Business Owner.

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, coach and develop the salon team.
- Establish clear expectations and accountability for individual and team performance.




- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and performance discussions.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
- Build a collaborative, professional and performance-driven culture.

Business Growth & Multi-Site Management (Future Development)

- Strengthen operational systems and processes to support business growth.
- Establish consistent operational standards and performance reporting across sites.
- Progress towards responsibility for managing two salon locations as the business expands.

About You

You are an experienced hairdresser with strong technical capability, commercial awareness and the leadership skills to manage people, operations and business performance.

You will bring:

- A recognised hairdressing qualification and substantial industry experience, including colour services.
- Proven management experience or significant leadership experience within a salon environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing revenue, labour costs and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, coaching and people-management skills.
- The ability to balance hands-on hairdressing with operational leadership.
- A proactive, accountable approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
- The ambition and capability to progress into multi-site management.
