Job Description
The Role
Coogee is seeking an experienced and safety-focused MC Linehaul Driver to join our transport team based in Lytton, QLD. This permanent full-time role offers a combination of interstate and regional linehaul work, with occasional local deliveries across our distribution network throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
As part of a business that has supported Australian industry for more than 50 years, you'll play a critical role in safely transporting class 8 dangerous goods to customers and depots while representing our company with professionalism and pride.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating B-double and heavy vehicle combinations for linehaul deliveries
- Safely transporting and delivering class 8 dangerous goods across QLD and NSW
- Loading and unloading of vehicle tankers
- Complying with all NHVL regulations
- Providing qualified customer service at all delivery locations
- Complying with company and client site operational and HSE requirements
- Representing the business professionally and maintaining the highest standards of conduct at all times
About You
We’re looking for a highly motivated and organised individual who has:
- A current Heavy Vehicle MC licence
- Strong understanding of transport operations and compliance requirements
- Commitment to safety, fatigue management and customer service
- Proven linehaul driving experience
- Commitment to high quality customer service
- Current TLIF0005 - Apply Fatigue Management Strategies (BFM) qualifications or the willingness to obtain
- A current DG licence or willing to obtain
