Australia Network Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to work across our clients’ construction and metal fabrication projects, including residential, commercial and public infrastructure projects throughout Sydney.

This is a full-time chance to join a supportive, multidisciplinary team and contribute to a variety of high-quality projects.

Skills and Experience

Successful applicants should demonstrate:

- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade with at least two years of relevant experience, or a relevant Certificate IV qualification
- At least two years of proven experience as a Boilermaker, Welder or Metal Fabricator
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques and metal materials
- Practical experience with MIG, TIG and/or stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and fabrication plans
- Valuable physical fitness, stamina and manual-handling capability
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent practical problem-solving abilities
- Flexible availability when required

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret technical drawings,



specifications and fabrication plans.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, bend and prepare metal components.
- Fabricate, assemble, weld and install metal structures, components and equipment.
- Perform welding using appropriate techniques and equipment, including MIG, TIG and/or stick welding.
- Inspect and test completed welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Repair or replace damaged metal components, structures and equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair work as required.
- Safely operate and maintain welding, cutting and fabrication tools and equipment.
- Work closely with fabricators, engineers and other team members to complete projects within the required timeframes.
- Maintain accurate measurements, alignment and workmanship throughout the fabrication process.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean, safe and organised.
