My Australia Direct E & M CAHILL PTY LTD are seeking a full time Drainer to work on civil construction projects across NSW. Duties include: Installing, maintaining and repairing underground drainage systems, stormwater pipes, sewer lines and associated civil infrastructure. Reading and interpreting construction plans, drainage drawings and specifications to determine pipe layouts, gradients and installation requirements. Excavating trenches and preparing bedding materials to ensure correct pipe alignment, levels and gradients. Laying, connecting and securing drainage pipes, culverts, pits and associated fittings in accordance with project specifications. Conducting drainage system inspections and testing, identifying faults and completing repairs to ensure installations meet required standards and specifications. Experience/Qualifications At least 3 years of experience working as a Drainer/Pipelayer on civil construction projects.
