- Ability to independently travel to schools across Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs.

- Exceptional reliability, punctuality and commitment.

- Availability for weekday lunchtimes, after-school sessions and/or weekends.

- A genuine passion for soccer and working with children aged 5–12.

Location preference: Ideally, you will live within close proximity of Malvern or Glen Waverley.

Please note: If you don't have reliable access to your own car or cannot independently travel between coaching locations, this role will not be suitable.

About Football Star Academy

Football Star Academy (FSA) delivers grassroots soccer development programs across Melbourne, helping children build their soccer skills, confidence, discipline and teamwork in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

About the Role

We're looking for enthusiastic, passionate and highly reliable soccer coaches to join our growing team.

You'll deliver structured, engaging sessions for children aged 5–12, helping players develop their technical skills, confidence and love for the game.

Coaching opportunities are available across:

- Weekday lunchtime school programs

- Weekday after-school sessions

- Weekend coaching programs

Reliability is non-negotiable. Our schools, families and players depend on us to deliver consistent, high-quality programs. We need coaches who arrive on time, come prepared and take their commitments seriously.

Key Responsibilities





- Deliver fun, structured soccer sessions using the FSA curriculum.

- Develop players' technical skills, confidence, teamwork and discipline.

- Create a positive and inclusive environment for children of different ages and abilities.

- Manage groups safely and professionally.

- Build positive relationships with players, parents and school staff.

- Arrive punctually and assist with equipment set-up and pack-down.

- Follow child safety requirements and represent FSA professionally.

What We're Looking For

- A professional work ethic and willingness to learn.

- Previous soccer coaching experience (desirable, but not essential).
