A practice in Morawa located in the Mid West region of Western Australia is seeking a motivated and compassionate General Practitioner to join its team. This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient centred healthcare to individuals and families while making a meaningful contribution to rural communities.

Morawa is located approximately 370Km north of Perth with a population of around 467 residents.

The Practice
The practice provides accessible and comprehensive primary healthcare to the local community and surrounding rural areas.

Services include family medicine, chronic disease management, immunisations, women's and men's health, child health, skin cancer checks and minor procedures, aged care, preventative health, and health assessments.

The practice works closely with local health services and allied health providers to support coordinated care and improve health outcomes for rural residents. The role also involves providing services to a neighbouring rural community, helping maintain access to essential medical care across both communities.

The surrounding area offers a welcoming agricultural community with local schools, sporting and recreational facilities,



community services, and a renowned wildflower season. This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, enjoy variety in clinical practice and become part of a close knit rural community.

The Requirements

- Current Ahpra registration or eligibility to obtain registration in Australia
- FRACGP or FACRRM
- A commitment to delivering safe, high quality, culturally appropriate and patient centred healthcare
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently while recognising when to seek support and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- A genuine interest in rural general practice and providing continuity of care to rural and regional communities
