Infrastructure Advisory Opportunities – Brisbane
- Commercial, procurement and transaction advisory
- Major transport, energy and social infrastructure programs
- Opportunities across multiple levels in Brisbane and Sydney
Aequalis Consulting is supporting the continued growth of an established specialist infrastructure advisory practice in Brisbane and Sydney.
We are interested in speaking with experienced infrastructure professionals across several levels whose expertise sits within commercial advisory, procurement, transaction management, project strategy or major program delivery.
These opportunities suit people who already understand major infrastructure. You may be working within a specialist advisory firm, professional services business, government, an engineering consultancy or a client-side project environment.
The common requirement is relevant infrastructure experience and the ability to turn complex commercial and delivery issues into clear, practical advice.
The work
Depending on your experience, your work may include:
- Infrastructure strategy and project development.
- Business cases and investment decision support.
- Procurement strategy and delivery-model assessment.
- Transaction management across EOI, RFP, evaluation and negotiation stages.
- Commercial and contractual advisory.
- Project and program governance, assurance and risk.
- Delivery readiness and performance reviews.
- Advice to government, asset-owner and private-sector clients.
- Leadership of workstreams, client relationships and multidisciplinary teams.
Projects may span transport, roads, rail, energy, water, utilities, social infrastructure and other major capital programs.
Who we want to speak with
You will already have experience advising on or delivering complex infrastructure projects.
Relevant backgrounds may include:
- Specialist infrastructure or transaction advisory.
- Big Four or professional services infrastructure teams.
- Commercial and procurement advisory.
- Client-side project and program advisory.
- Government infrastructure and major-project environments.
- Engineering-led advisory, where your work has involved commercial, procurement or delivery decisions.
These positions are unlikely to suit generalist consultants without direct infrastructure experience.
Depending on level, you may bring experience in:
- Managing defined advisory workstreams.
- Developing procurement strategies and transaction documentation.
- Leading tender evaluation or negotiation processes.
- Advising senior government and private-sector stakeholders.
- Managing complex engagements and multidisciplinary teams.
- Developing client relationships and contributing to current work.
Why consider the move?
- Work within a business where infrastructure advisory is a core capability.
- Advise on significant Australian infrastructure investments.
- Gain direct exposure to clients and senior decision-makers.
- Take meaningful responsibility for engagements and project outcomes.
- Work alongside experienced infrastructure specialists.
- Build broader capability across commercial, procurement and delivery matters.
- Join an established platform with opportunities in both Brisbane and Sydney.
If your experience is already grounded in infrastructure and you want to understand where it could take you next, contact Aequalis Consulting for a confidential discussion.
Applications and enquiries will be managed directly by Simon Boulton and Louise Pope.
