About the role

Donut King Mid Valley is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Team Lead/Supervisor to join our Morwell VIC location. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing the opportunity to make a real impact on our team's performance and customer experience. As Team Lead/Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, maintaining our high standards of service, and creating a positive working environment for your team members.

What you'll be doing

- Supervising and coordinating team members during shifts to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards

- Training new and existing team members on product knowledge, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations

- Managing day-to-day operations including stock management, till reconciliation, and equipment maintenance

- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times

- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally, with a focus on resolution and satisfaction

- Assisting with scheduling and communicating shift information to team members

- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment for both staff and customers

- Supporting the achievement of sales targets and promoting special offers or new menu items

- Reporting issues or concerns to management and suggesting improvements to operations

What we're looking for

- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a hospitality, food service, or retail environment

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment





- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

- Customer service excellence and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding experiences

- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude towards work

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods

- Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Ideally, experience within a donut shop or similar food establishment would be advantageous
