Security Officer – University Campus | Bathurst NSW

SAI Security Protection Pty Ltd (T/A Bluestar Security) is seeking experienced, reliable and professional Security Officers to join our team in Bathurst, NSW.

We are looking for motivated individuals with previous experience in corporate or university security environments who are committed to maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff, students and visitors.

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security across a university campus workplace.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols.
- Monitoring and controlling access to facilities.
- Responding promptly to security incidents, alarms and emergencies.
- Preparing accurate incident reports and maintaining daily security records.
- Providing professional customer service to staff, students and visitors.
- Identifying and reporting potential security risks.
- Working independently and as part of a professional security team.
- Working rotating rosters, including night shifts.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:





- A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated security experience in corporate and/or university environments.
- A current and valid NSW Security Licence.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A current unrestricted driver's licence.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation, reliability and professionalism.
- Ability to prepare clear incident reports and respond effectively to challenging situations.
