ENTERPRISE As a full time Electrical Estimator at EKKA Group, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for the electrical components of the company's construction and installation projects.

The role focuses on switchboards, control panels, motor control centres, and associated industrial electrical and automation systems. Benefits Salary: AUD $85,000–$95,000 per annum, plus superannuation. Task & responsibilities Assisting the Manager and project delivery teams with the planning and organisation of electrical construction and installation tenders. Interpreting electrical drawings, project plans, specifications, applicable regulations and codes of practice to establish the requirements and scope of each estimate. Reviewing site information and, where required, attending site inspections to identify installation conditions, access requirements and other factors affecting project costs. Preparing preliminary scope sketches, marked-up drawings, material schedules and technical information for review with EKKA Group’s design and drafting team. Checking and revising estimating drawings, quantities and specifications when tender documents or client requirements change. Calculating the quantities of materials, equipment and labour required for switchboards, control panels, motor control centres and associated electrical installation works. Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations, and checking proposed materials and equipment against the tender specifications. Estimating labour hours and project timeframes in consultation with the design, manufacturing and installation teams, including the sequence of work needed to meet tender requirements. Preparing itemised cost estimates, pricing schedules and tender submissions covering the electrical works,



with clear assumptions, exclusions and qualifications. Reviewing estimates for accuracy and completeness, responding to tender queries and updating costs and timeframes before tender settlement. Qualification & experience A relevant diploma-level qualification in electrical engineering, electrotechnology, construction or a related field; alternatively, at least three years of relevant estimating experience. 12 months of experience preparing estimates for electrical installation or industrial electrical projects, preferably involving switchboards, control panels or automation systems. Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and tender documents, and calculate material quantities, labour requirements and project costs. Strong attention to detail, numerical skills and written communication. Competence with spreadsheets and estimating tools used to prepare and maintain cost breakdowns.
