We are seeking a proactive, highly organised, and customer-focused Senior Barista to join our front-of-house team on a permanent part-time basis.

Please note: Proven specialty coffee experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is a strict prerequisite for this role. We are unable to consider applicants without high-level barista experience.

While this is a specialty coffee-focused role where you will be expected to lead behind the machine, you will also jump into all areas of our takeaway bakery service as an all-rounder.

Skills & Experience Required

- Advanced Coffee Expertise (Strict Prerequisite): Minimum 2+ years of experience in a quick-paced, high-volume environment. You must be completely confident working solo on the machine during peak Saturday rushes, managing complex dockets, dialling in grinds, executing flawless manual milk texturing, and maintaining speed without sacrificing quality.
- Autonomous Operator: Ability to lead service on the machine independently and handle high-pressure rushes calmly and efficiently.
- Availability & Reliability: Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (including early morning starts)



for approximately 20–24 hours per week.
- All-Rounder Mentality: Beyond coffee, you are expected to assist across all areas of the bakery, processing sales, packing baked goods, restocking, and general cleaning.
- Communication & Detail: Warm interpersonal skills with a passion for exceptional customer service and immaculate station presentation across both the coffee setup and retail counters.

The Role

The Senior Barista / Front of House All-Rounder is responsible for delivering high-quality coffee, providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and assisting with food and beverage preparation. You will play a vital role on the floor, ensuring high-quality product delivery, shop cleanliness, and a positive, efficient takeaway experience for our customers.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $27.81 – $29.45 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 24.0 per week
