Naga Thai is opening a current restaurant at Portside Hamilton, and we're looking for an experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our kitchen team. You'll work alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver the fresh, bold flavours Naga is known for.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Thai dishes to a high standard
- Run your section during busy lunch and dinner services
- Help with daily preparation and kitchen organisation
- Maintain consistent food quality, flavour and presentation
- Work closely with the Head Chef and other chefs
- Help train and support junior kitchen staff
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Keep your section clean, organised and ready for service
About you
- At least 12 months' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Experience cooking traditional or modern Thai food
- Good knowledge of Thai ingredients, flavours and cooking techniques
- Ability to work confidently during busy services
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, organised and able to work across a rotating roster
