Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager tolead our client's operation in Fyshwick, ACT.

This is a hands-on leadership role with primaryresponsibility for the branch's warehouse and transport operations, ensuringproducts are received, stored and distributed efficiently while maintaininghigh standards across safety, food quality and customer service.

You will lead the day-to-day performance of thebranch, working closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure operationsrun efficiently and customer requirements are met.

Alongside your operational responsibilities, youwill have oversight of branch performance, budgets, costs and KPIs, whiledeveloping a positive and accountable team culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day warehouse and transportoperations of the branch.
- Manage operational performance to ensure efficientand reliable customer delivery.
- Lead, coach and develop warehouse, transport andwider branch employees.
- Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunitiesto improve productivity and reduce costs.




- Oversee inventory and stock levels to ensurecustomer demand can be effectively met.
- Manage branch budgets, forecasts and financialperformance.
- Maintain high standards across customer service andresolve operational issues where required.
- Build strong working relationships with customers,suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure HACCP and food safety requirements areconsistently maintained.
- Lead workplace health and safety across the branch,including risk management and compliance.
- Ensure relevant transport, Chain of Responsibilityand workplace legislation requirements are maintained.
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse,transport and wider branch operations.
- Build a positive, accountable andperformance-focused team culture.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experiencedoperational leader with a strong background in FMCG, food distribution or asimilar high-volume environment.

You will have proven experience leading warehouseand transport operations, along with strong people management skills and theability to balance safety, service, productivity and commercial performance.

- Essential: Previous management experience within FMCG, fooddistribution or a closely related high-volume environment.
- Essential: Strong experience overseeing warehouse andtransport operations.
- Essential: Demonstrated experience leading,coaching and developing operational teams.
- Essential: Strong understanding of workplace health andsafety and operational compliance.
- Ideal:Knowledgeof HACCP, food safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
