ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a commercially minded Growth & Transition Manager to identify and progress Platformplus growth opportunities and coordinate the end-to-end transition of suitable clients and assets onto the platform. Based in Sydney, this full-time role combines business development, key account and relationship management, and practical transition delivery.
You'll work closely with Member Firms and internal specialists to take opportunities from initial qualification through to implementation, while helping shape a growing transition service and operating model. Regular interstate and intrastate travel is required.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Identify, qualify and progress Platformplus growth opportunities with Member Firms.
Manage a structured opportunity pipeline from initial engagement through assessment, transition and conversion.
Coordinate transition plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, actions and stakeholder communication.
Build trusted relationships with advisers, practice teams, platform partners and internal stakeholders.
Use data and commercial insight to prioritise opportunities and support increased platform adoption and funds under administration.
Help develop repeatable processes, tools, templates and reporting that make transitions simpler and more scalable.
Identify and resolve transition barriers while ensuring legal, regulatory, privacy, risk and compliance requirements are met.
ABOUT YOU
Experience in business development, key account management, relationship management, platform distribution, transition management or a comparable financial services role.
A sound understanding of wealth platforms and investment structures; knowledge of Australian superannuation,
pension and non-super investments will be highly regarded.
Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to initiate commercially focused conversations and progress opportunities.
Proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder activity, manage competing priorities and maintain momentum.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Experience with CRM, pipeline, workflow and reporting systems, along with Microsoft 365.
A relevant tertiary, financial services, RG146 or project management qualification is desirable but not essential where you bring strong practical experience.
You take ownership, work collaboratively and use sound judgement to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes.
Please note that any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory reference checks, background screening and verification of your right to work in Australia
Reviewed platform and business data to prioritise a promising Member Firm chance.
Met with advisers and practice leaders to understand their current platform arrangements, client needs and transition barriers.
Built a practical transition plan covering milestones, responsibilities, dependencies and risks.
Brought together product, technology, operations and compliance specialists to resolve an implementation issue.
Updated the opportunity pipeline and provided clear reporting on progress, forecast impact and next steps.
