The Role An opportunity exists for an Estimator / Contracts Administrator to join our team. You will be based on-site working between our Newcastle office and various project sites in the Northern NSW region. Responsibilities Reporting to the Operations Manager / Project Manager, your

key responsibilities
include: Contracts Administration Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to ensure they meet company standards and legal requirements; Ensuring all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations; Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with contracts; Providing guidance and support to project team members on commercial matters; Establishment and maintenance of an accurate cost control system including the project budget and forecasting; and Liaising between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and adherence to contractual terms. Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a range of commercial construction projects for both public and private clients; Evaluating project plans and specifications, analysing costs, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to develop comprehensive bid proposals; Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements; and Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring they understand the scope, cost, and timeline of the project Experience and Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the below; Relevant practical experience in commercial construction projects up to $40M; Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a similar field; Advanced level knowledge of the application of construction contracts; Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Jobpac); An exceptional level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; Highly developed organisational, time management and prioritising skills; and Highly developed emotional intelligence.
