A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Services Manager to join a well-established accounting firm with a proud 60-year history. This firm has proven staff longevity. This role sits at the heart of the Business Services team.

Duties

- You’ll work closely alongside the Partners, gaining genuine exposure to decision‑making, clients and firm operations
- Reviewing the work of 2 others, as well as hands-on processing
- You will manage a high-quality client portfolio of approximately $600k in portfolio fees, with the opportunity to grow this to $1 m over time, supported by two/ three direct reports.
- This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role suited to someone who enjoys building long‑term relationships and mentoring staff.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of SME and family-group clients
- Deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services
- Act as a trusted advisor
- Ensure strong attention to detail across all work delivered




- Contribute to process improvement and team development

About you

- CA or CPA qualified
- 10 + years in Business Services
- Confident in managing clients directly
- Comfortable mentoring and supervising staff
- High attention to detail and robust technical standards
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, in‑office environment. This is an office-based role
