Medical Receptionist

to join our busy and modern GP practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team and play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our community. About the Role As a valued member of our front desk team, you will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals. You’ll help create a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment while supporting our GPs and clinical team in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients with professionalism and care

Manage appointments, phone calls, recalls, and general enquiries

Maintain accurate patient records, referrals, and Medicare checks

Process billing, receipting, and payments

Perform data entry, scanning, and document management

Coordinate patient care and follow-up requirements

Handle correspondence and general administrative tasks

Support clinicians with daily workflow and operations

Uphold strict patient confidentiality and privacy standards





About You Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration (preferred)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment

Confident using practice management systems and general IT

Friendly, qualified, and team-oriented approach

Able to work both independently and collaboratively
