About The Role
As a Disability Support Worker, working within our Supported Independent Living homes, you’ll provide person-centred support that empowers people with disability to build independence, confidence and connection. You’ll be part of a supportive team that genuinely cares about the people we support — and about each other. This role required availability for multiple sleepovers shifts per fortnight. Permanent part-time hours up to 55 per fortnight located at SIL home in Warwick, Queensland. What You’ll Be Doing
• Supporting people with daily living activities, personal care and routines
• Assisting clients with manual handling using hoists and slings
• Encouraging independence, choice and inclusion
• Supporting community access, social activities and wellbeing
• Building trusted relationships with clients, families and colleagues
• Maintaining safe, respectful and positive environments What We’re Looking For
• A caring, patient and respectful approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
• Availability to work a range of shifts (including mornings, afternoons,



evenings, weekends and sleepovers – penalty rates apply)
• The capacity to meet the physical requirements as manual handling tasks are involved
• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous but not required You will be required to hold or willing to obtain
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• National Criminal History Check (Police Check)
