Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Customer Engagement
• Act as executive technology sponsor for strategic customers and partners.
• Support sales teams in major pursuits and customer transformation programs.
• Present technology strategy to boards, regulators, investors, and key customers.
• Identify opportunities for new services, API monetization, enterprise networking, and digital platforms. Required Experience Essential
• 15+ years' experience in telecommunications technology leadership.
• 5+ years in a Head of Networks, Chief Engineer, or equivalent executive role.
• Demonstrated leadership within Australian telecommunications providers, carriers, infrastructure operators, or major network vendors.
• Deep expertise across:
• Mobile Networks (4G/5G)
• RAN and Core Technologies
• IP/MPLS and Transport Networks
• Cloud-Native Architecture
• SDN/NFV
• Network Security
• OSS/BSS Transformation
• AI and Network Automation
• Experience managing large technology budgets and executive stakeholder relationships.
• Highly Desirable ( One or More)




• Experience with Australian carriers such as Optus, Telstra, TPG, Vodafone, NBN Co, or major telecommunications vendors.
• Exposure to Open RAN, private wireless, edge computing, and network APIs.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation programs exceeding AUD $50M.
• Experience in Enterprise network and Solutions. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related discipline. Leadership Competencies
