If you love getting into customer data, finding the story behind the numbers and turning that insight into action, this is an opportunity to influence how TMBL engages members throughout their banking journey. As the Marketing Lifecycle Manager, you'll take a strategic, data-led approach to onboarding, engagement, retention and cross-sell across multiple banking products. Your focus won't simply be getting campaigns out the door. You'll identify where opportunities exist, understand what is driving member behaviour and translate those insights into lifecycle strategies with clear commercial outcomes. Why this role matters TMBL is evolving how it uses data and technology to understand and communicate with members. You'll have the prospect to help mature that approach, looking across the end-to-end member lifecycle to identify gaps, drop-off points and opportunities for stronger engagement. You'll use evidence to shape priorities, challenge assumptions and help determine where activity will have the greatest impact. Working closely with Business Insights and Analytics, Product, Member Services, Sales and Marketing, you'll connect customer insight with practical action.
What you'll do
• Shape lifecycle strategy: Develop data-led approaches to onboarding, lead nurture, retention and cross-sell across multiple brands and banking products.
• Find the opportunities in the data: Analyse member behaviour and campaign performance to identify disengagement, gaps in customer contact and opportunities to improve retention, engagement and commercial outcomes.
• Turn insight into action: Clearly articulate what the data is showing, define the problem and recommend what should happen next, including the expected impact.
• Develop better member journeys: Build and optimise multi-channel journeys that go beyond email and SMS, using segmentation and test-and-learn approaches to deliver more relevant member experiences.
• Challenge and influence:
Work with stakeholders to establish clear objectives and measures of success, using evidence to challenge assumptions and inform growth priorities.
• Drive delivery and measurement: Translate strategy into structured plans, prioritise competing opportunities and evaluate results so learnings continuously improve future lifecycle activity. What you'll bring Essential
• Strong experience in lifecycle, retention, CRM or customer marketing, with a track record of using data to shape strategy and improve customer outcomes.
• The ability to move beyond reporting the numbers and explain the problem, insight, recommended action and commercial impact.
• Experience developing customer journeys across digital channels and using segmentation to improve engagement.
• Commercial judgement and an understanding of ROI, measurement and how marketing activity contributes to business outcomes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly the ability to influence stakeholders and constructively challenge an existing approach using evidence.
• Structured project management skills, including prioritising work, managing timelines and defining clear outcomes. Nice to have
• Financial services or retail banking experience.
• Experience from another data-rich, high-volume customer environment such as e-commerce, where lifecycle journeys, customer behaviour, retention and cross-sell are central to growth.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics or the broader Adobe technology setting.
• Experience working with lifecycle or CRM platforms such as Portrait Dialogue.
• Experience supporting an organisation as it develops or matures its CRM and lifecycle marketing capability.
