Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records as well as supporting decision-making through sound financial analysis. This role requires a deep understanding of financial accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. What You’ll Do
• Own key month-end processes, including income recognition, journals, treasury and trust accounting, payments, write-offs and refunds.
• Manage bank, cash flow, general ledger, trust and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure investor repayments are processed accurately and on time.
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends and recommend opportunities to improve costs and revenue.
• Partner with operational teams, including AltX Operations, to support investment accounting and business decisions.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve processes to make finance operations more effective and accurate.



What You’ll Bring
• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with CA/CPA or equivalent certification.
• Proven accounting experience, including experience in banking or non-bank lending.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as MYOB Advanced and Microsoft Office.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
